THE CHALLENGE
Tight berth windows. Corrosive salt air. No room to spare.
Bulk terminals are measured on one thing: how fast a vessel is turned around. Every extra hour at berth carries demurrage cost and ties up the quay. Loading and unloading systems must hold high nominal rates continuously, resist salt corrosion and weather exposure, and fit within a fixed footprint between water and yard. On the waterfront, speed and reliability are not features – they are the business case.

Where grab cranes stall and spill, the continuous ship unloader flows. The KOCH CSU discharges dry bulk at very high rate with minimal dust and material degradation – turning vessels around faster while keeping the quayside clean and the yard fed without interruption. One continuous flow, from ship's hold to stockyard.
